Immature Stages of Oinophilidae

Detailed information on immature stages of Oinophilidae is being acquired. However, Clausen (1940) noted than an occasional species was recorded as predatory. Ereunetis minuscula Wesm. was thought to be predaceous on cottony-cushion scale and other scales in Puerto Rico. However, it is mainly a plant scavenger.
